Respect: Avocation Therapy believes that with respect, comes dignity. Dignity is a basic human right that gives a person value, worthiness, and accepts a person as they are.

Trust: Trust is the foundation of any relationship. Avocation Therapy works to build a trusting relationship with out clients to help them reach beyond what they thought was possible.

Community: Everyone is capable and has an ability to offer to their community. Avocation Therapy uses a community-based therapy approach that creates a space for people with disabilities to access their community, while also educating the community through disability awareness.

Accessibility: We work with clients to find accessible ways to access their community. Avocation Therapy also advocates for accessible spaces, so that the greater community is a welcoming space for all.

Strengths-Based: Avocation Therapy helps clients to take ownership over their weaknesses and build their strengths. We believe everyone has strengths to offer their community. We will help you find your vocation or purpose while incorporating your avocation or passion to make your life meaningful to you.
